GCNA Building Network: Building Insurance Costs

Join the Gold Coast Neighbors Association Building Network for a program designed to help building board members and property managers address rising building insurance costs and understand insurance options. Cindy Fitts, Community Insurance & Risk Management Specialist, will lead the conversation. Network with other building board members and property managers and share best practices!

While walk ins are welcome, we encourage you to register in advance to hold your spot!

Earth Day Lincoln Park Cleanup


Saturday, April 18, 2026 • 10-11 am • South Lincoln Park (North and Dearborn)

Make a difference in South Lincoln Park! Join us this Earth Day for the South Lincoln Park cleanup where neighbors of all ages come together to make a visible and immediate impact by clearing trash and restoring our shared green space! Trash grabbers, gloves, and garbage bags will be available—just bring your enthusiasm! Rain or shine, we will be out there!

Gold Coast Neighbors Association is collaborating with Friends of the Park and the Chicago Park District. You must sign the Park District waiver to participate—indicate you are volunteering at “South Lincoln Park”.

18th District CAPS Beat Meeting


May 14, 2026 • 6:00 pm

CAPS is an innovative partnership that unites police, community members, and City agencies to proactively identify and solve neighborhood crime problems through collaboration, neighborhood-level problem solving, and shared responsibility for safer communities. CAPS Beat Meetings for our beat, beat 1824, are held at First St. Paul’s Church, 1301 N LaSalle Dr.
