Event Registration - Event View

So that the candidates for our 18th Police District can speak directly to you, the constituents they hope to represent, Gold Coast Neighbors Association, the Old Town Merchants & Residents Association, and 2nd Ward Alderman Brian Hopkins are sponsoring a forum. This 18th District Council Candidates Forum is scheduled for Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Moody Church, 1635 N LaSalle Drive, Room 108, at 6:00 p.m. Please use the entrance, marked “1635”, which is located midblock on the LaSalle Drive side. 

This forum will give candidates the opportunity to state their positions.  It will also give voters the chance to hear how those candidates answer questions on safety issues of importance to them.  Admission is free for this important event, but advance registration is required.

The following candidates have been invited to participate and address how they would work to improve policing and public safety in the 18th District if elected to one of the three positions available in our 18th District:
